My site complained this morning that the node_privacy_by role package I have installed is obsolete. Upon visiting the page here, it seems there is no longer an official Druapl 5 package. Is this as intended? The lack of an official Drupal 5 package seems to make the "Status Update" module unhappy.

deekayen CreditAttribution: deekayen commentedI realize it makes update_status unhappy, but I don't have anymore sites running on D5 to test updates, reproduce bugs, etc. It was an intentional change as part of me trying to manage all of the many things I'm doing now.
I did the same thing to all my modules. Someone already volunteered to maintain 5.x for Similar Entries, so that's available again for D5.

zwoop CreditAttribution: zwoop commentedAh. Well, I personally don't expect the 5.x branch to get any new features / development ported from the 6.x / dev branch, other than maybe security bug fixes. I'd be more than happy to help out with such fixes, and I still have a few sites that need Drupal 5 (due to missing support for Drupal 6 for a few modules still).

jsimonis CreditAttribution: jsimonis commentedYea, I have some clients who are freaking out because they see the message about it not being supported. I'd love to move those sites to Drupal 6, but until a few more modules finally have D6 versions out, I'm stuck using D5.

yan CreditAttribution: yan commentedI'm glad that somebody (jsimonis) took over the 5.x version, but the reason this issue was opened for still exists: There appears no official 5.x release and update status tells me that the version I use is "Not supported!". So I re-open this issue.
