Hi there
Great idea but for me it is not working. I am working with D6.9 running on a Windows Microsoft IIS (unfortunalety not an Apache !! don't know if this is an issue). However, when I put in an incorrect file location just returns a 'normal' 404 page no found.
What could be the problem as I thought this should be just a simple module to use?
My site can be found at : http://www.academytraining.uk.com/
Thanks

zyxware CreditAttribution: zyxware commentedLooks like Clean URLs are not enabled for your website, is there an option to do this in IIS and if so can you try it out and let us know if the module works?

Stephen OllmanBUMP!
Did anyone find a solution to this?
Search 404 not working at all on Windows server running IIS and URL rewrite.
Clear URLs are working fine, but IIS 404 error page returns and not the search page with the pre-selected search text from url.
Any thoughts?

zyxware CreditAttribution: zyxware commentedYou will have to do some digging yourselves regarding this. There could be a configuration option in IIS that makes IIS handle the 404 without passing it to the application. See here for IIS 7.

There might be a related setting for the version of IIS you are using.
