Hello,
I tried to install a custom theme called \"Genesis Dark matter\" & now for whatever reason the Web Site doesn`t show. I don`t even get a error message.
These are the instructions that I followed for the installation....

How do I fix this?
Please help.
Thanks.

Have you tried deleting the
Have you tried deleting the theme folder?
A quick note, there is nothing wrong with putting a contrib or custom theme into the theme folder (like what it shown in the tutorial) but it's good practice to put it in /sites/all/themes instead (same with contrib modules). The difference is that you will have an easier time upgrading your site since the site directory is the only one you do not need to remove during an upgrade.

Can`t Find a Theme That works 4 me.
Hello,
I put the theme in /sites/all/themes & it still did not work. I just went ahead & deleted it & went with 1 of the default Drupal Themes.
I am having a rough time finding themes that I like & that work with my Drupal core files which is 6.10.
Even this "Genesis Dark matter" was showing up as "GREEN" for compatibility with Drupal 6.10 & you could see it in the Drupal Themes section after I installed it, but it still didn`t work out. This is about the 3rd Drupal Theme that I have tried & I get the same result.
I think what is happening is that the Drupal Themes can`t keep up with the Drupal core files updates.
It seems to me that.......................
Drupal updates faster than new Drupal Themes are coming out.
I wonder if I am I the only 1 having these kind of issues with these Drupal Themes???
Any updates to the core
Any updates to the core should not really matter to themes. Unless you are trying to install a Drupal 5 theme on a Drupal 6 install, then that wouldn't work.
Had a quick look at the theme 'Genesis Dark matter'. Looks like to get it working you need to install the Genesis theme framework: http://drupal.org/project/genesis
Haven't tried it out, but i believe you install the 'Genesis theme framework' as a theme and then install 'Genesis Dark Matter' theme as a subtheme (inside of the Genesis framework).
So download this: http://drupal.org/project/genesis
Then install this as a subtheme inside the theme above: http://drupal.org/project/genesis_darkmatter
This theme seems a little more than a standard theme.

...
Well it should have thrown a huge big error when it was enabled if he didn't have the base theme installed, so thats a tell tale sign that something else was wrong, like installing the wrong version of the base theme (sorry, it is a bit confusing right now, in this transitional phase of development).
But I can assure all that I most certainly do keep up with the play in Drupal core, but I cannot speak of all themers.
Pimp your Drupal 8 Toolbar - make it badass.

Thanks for all of the replies
Thanks for all of the help replies I went with Sanqreal Theme & it works just fine.
