I think Mollom could be better if it had provided a way for false positives to be handled. It seems like one of those 'MUST' features but it's missing. I understand it was a decision to leave it out, and Mollom had already taken a step forward through the uncertainty/captcha step. However, I do believe that there are still false positives (based on real experience), and the problem is that unless your users contact you about them, you would not know about this problem.
I wonder if it would be of interest to this module in the future to have this issue handled one way or another.

JeremyL CreditAttribution: JeremyL commentedI need the same thing. After a couple of my execs where blocked from commenting on our own site, I had to remove mollom. I asked for a feature so that spam comments are held for moderation instead of auto deleted, that way we can publish them if they are not spam. See http://drupal.org/node/364575
