I have settled on using Marinelli for a community portal i am developing through Drupal 6 and launching soon. The calendar module and advanced forum are crucial, and they work perfectly in firefox. However, when opening the page in internet explorer the following problems occur:

#1 - the transparency of the dropshadow on the primary links dropdown menus appear fail (much like png transparency problems so I tried the png behave module which seemed to just remove the dropshadow all together.)
#2 - when the calendar or advanced forum pages load they appear UNDER the menus (as I've tried all sub-themes and block arrangements). Please see attached image "forum.jpg".

To solve problem #2 I have tried the following:
- as stated above, different sub theme and block arrangements.
- I have reduced the width of the forum via css to 90% instead of 100% - you should be able to notice it in "nicemenu.jpg" & "forum.jpg"
- I have removed "Nice Menus" from the left menu bar - this has limited success. It allows the forum (not calendar) to fit but notice how it hugs the left menu for no reason and that the left menu has pushed away from the left border of the page - see image "nicemenu.jpg"

This is very frustrating as I need to make it available to browse and be professional for even un-tech savvy people. I may try to launch with a warning to only use firefox, or I may have to change themes. Basically, I don't have the time to learn the templates and all the affecting css to solve this myself. Please help.

I have the same issue with Litejazz theme for Advanced Forums. All the forum topics are being displayed under the navigation menu present on the left sidebar. When I disable Advanced Forums, it works fine with the default Drupal Forums. So, may be it's an issue with Advanced Forums. I might have to stop using Advanced Forums.

Anyone has a solution for this?
