Recipe does not work with Contemplate

There is an old issue from the 4.7 recipe module that is still present, as i updated the issue to version 6.x on the recipe issue queue but i am also posting it here also.

when you open the contemplate interface for the recipe content type in the body for the body varible is already present. so i check the check-box to affect the body, delete the the body varible and add the varible tha i need to be present. than i hit save as normal.

and here is the issue : it just returns the body form again like it should but the check box is un-check, ad the body varible is back like i didnt even alter it.

** Please understand i double posted it in both modules since the 2 modules aren't working together and one of them is at fault but not knowing which one, i covered all bases.**
