Hey,
I guess this queue has no end to new posts, so I'm sorry to be contributing to it but I'm looking for a way to make the secondary links have the same dropdown functionality as the primary links menu.
The primary links functionality is fine, but the placement isn't ideal for a professional site, nor are the tabular nature. The secondary links are pretty rockin, I'd just like them to dropdown.
Is there a way to do this? Google searching this problem just referred me to support requests where people suggested the nice menu's module, and I don't want to go about using that if there is already hoverintent menu functionality already integrated.
Thanks!

I'm aware I can style the primary links menu and position it to look exactly like the secondary links menu but I was just wondering if this were at all possible by a simple template switch or something...

jdvc CreditAttribution: jdvc commentedHow do you activate the dropdown functionality for primary links above the banner. Do i have to attach the drop down css to the p links div id or something? I can get drop down menus with "Nice Menus", but I can't figure out how to apply "Nice Menus" to the primary menu links above the banner. If there is a dropdown CSS where is it? Premeditated Thanks.

You *might* need the theme settings api module, but I'm unsure. You want to go to admin - themes - subtheme (in my case, giordani) - configure - theme specific settings (at the bottom), and select primary links to dropdown. In your menu configuration - admin/build/menu, select primary links. Add a submenu to the primary menu (there is a dropdown list to select a menu item as a parent). Then select BOTH the parent and child menu item to be "expanded." This should work for you. Again, im unsure if you need the theme settings API module to do this or not.
Hope this helps.
@Maintainer:
Any chance of extending the primary links dropdown functionality to the secondary links in an easy way?
Thanks!

mrigank CreditAttribution: mrigank commentedYou can use Simple Menu to get good looking drop down menus http://drupal.org/project/simplemenu
I used the same and set the CSS selector to .wrapper. This allows the simple menu to appear just below the menu items.
Some minor CSS adjustments also help. You can then disable secondary menus or continue using them without drop downs.
You can check the same at http://www.marriagetown.com/
The grey menu items are created by Simple Menu.

If you feel that this issue is still valid, feel free to re-open and update it (and any possible patch) to work with the 7.x-4.x branch.
Thank you.
