Steven Jones CreditAttribution: Steven Jones commentedIf (and when) control of this module is removed from the current maintainer I'm guessing a message is going to be left pointing at protection module?
Can you also point at Hacked! which fills a slightly different niche.

Dave ReidNo response in a couple months so marking module as abandoned and adding links to similar projects on project page.
gisleI hereby request ownership of this abandoned module.
I have already created a Drupal 7 version of this project, and want to take over ownership. There are currently no releases and no reported users. There are some code for Drupal 6 in the repo in its "master" branch. I intend to leave that code in place, and to roll out a supported 7.x-1.x branch.
The project is unsupported, and owned by "Unsupported projects".
Also removing request to merge into Protection as this is no longer relevant.

gisleUpdated issue summary to reflect the current situation.
I should also mention that my version is intended to fill the same use case as the original "File integrity check" (monitoring production site file integrity). This is a different use case than the Hacked! project, which is not designed to be used on a production site.
