Category: task » support

I'm officially requesting if this module is abandoned or not now as per http://drupal.org/node/251466.

NB: Currently, this module supports Drupal 6.0 till 6.6, although Drupal is at 6.14!

If (and when) control of this module is removed from the current maintainer I'm guessing a message is going to be left pointing at protection module?

Can you also point at Hacked! which fills a slightly different niche.

Title: Is File integrity check still maintained? (Request to merge into protection.module) » Request for ownership of File integrity check
Assigned: Dave Reid » Unassigned
Category: Support request » Task
Issue summary: View changes
Status: Closed (fixed) » Needs review

I hereby request ownership of this abandoned module.

I have already created a Drupal 7 version of this project, and want to take over ownership. There are currently no releases and no reported users. There are some code for Drupal 6 in the repo in its "master" branch. I intend to leave that code in place, and to roll out a supported 7.x-1.x branch.

The project is unsupported, and owned by "Unsupported projects".

Also removing request to merge into Protection as this is no longer relevant.

Updated issue summary to reflect the current situation.

I should also mention that my version is intended to fill the same use case as the original "File integrity check" (monitoring production site file integrity). This is a different use case than the Hacked! project, which is not designed to be used on a production site.
