why Contact can't send email?

Also at least a basic description and at least some basic details would help. What you posted is like calling up a mechanic and saying "my car's broke, how do I fix it" ;)

Hello everybody
I've got the same problem; unable to send e-mail from Drupal.

At the moment I'm going to develop a website using my own server, where I can make anything I want and where I've configured the MTA (debian/lenny with exim4).

BUT what happens if my ISP doesn't give me the tools (and the privileges) to configuring the MTA ?
I know that Joomla has a configuration tool that allow the admin to setup the PHP mail instead of the SMTP ...
