After adding MailChimp to my drupal site using this module, I will edit or create an ad (using Advertisement) and a new drop-down menu field shows up at the top, which is labeled "Newsletter" and requires that I choose a mailing list from my MailChimp account before continuing with the rest of the details.
When I try to edit this "Newsletter" vocabulary, it greys out the "Advertisement" checkbox, which is already checked. So I assume, this is the developers way of making sure all ads are available to be used inside the newsletter. Either that, or it creates a new region in the newsletter in which the ads pop up, likely without the user's control.
Can anyone confirm this or help me edit the Newsletter vocabulary?

levelos CreditAttribution: levelos commentedMailChimp has NO integration with the ad module, or taxonomy. The images you attached indicate you are using SimpleNews, which is not connected to MailChimp at all. Perhaps you are mixing them up.

I just realized this as I am working off a new template of an old site, and failed to activate MailChimp.

In that case, since there is no built-in integration with the module, is it possible to use Token phrases to place ads without using JavaScript. I'm aware of the fact that most email browsers do not use JavaScript.
