Hi all,
I have just created an image gallery and converted the images to products using the ecommerce module. My site has just one administrator (me) and everyone else is set as an anonymous user.
Problem is, when you browse the products as an anonymous user, you see the 'view' and 'edit' tabs. I don't want these to appear, certainly not the 'edit' tab!
In my admin access control setting I have everything ticked as 'authenticated user' except the 'node module' > access content & 'search module'> search content.
Anyone any ideas why this is happening?

need a new role
When a user logs in they become and 'authenticated user'.
You need to create a new role for the adminstrator (you). Give the new role the correct privileges and then set access control correctly for authenticated users.

Thanks for the reply but another question
Thanks for the reply.
What I don't understand is that if you go on the site and go straight to a product without logging in the edit tab still appears?
I can't seem to find anyway round this.
I have set the ecommerce module to allow people to create their own accounts because of a bug in the module with anonymous users but you don't even need to login to be able to edit the product?
I take it I need to create an admin user (for me) with access to everything, an authenticated user with limited access and an anonymous user who can't access anything except viewing the content on the site?
the bug in ecommerce is

same problem
i'm having the same problem on one of my sites...but not all of them. it's really bizarre. anon users can edit images, even though they don't even have permission to create images, let alone admin.
i'll post back if i figure it out...
