By 'inherit exposed filters', I can only assume you mean that, if when viewing the main calendar page, if an exposed filter is set, then clicking on the day view will apply those same filters. Well, that is not the case. After setting exposed filters, and clicking on a day, the filters show up unset and the content is not filtered.
