Allows uploading videos to your site and embed into any existing content in the same

Manual for using the FlashVideo module for Drupal.

Steps to follow:

1. Download the Drupal module site (http://drupal.org/project/flashvideo).

2. Once downloaded normally installed by copying the module into the modules folder of your site.

3. Then the site was active in that module, Administer / Modules, is activated and sends the page.

4. The module is installed on your settings in Administer / Site Configuration / FlashVideo Settings, as shown View Image 1

Once in the environment configuration of the module, see the images:

• Is an important note about parameters to be set in php.ini.
• It shows the recommendations of the values that must take these parameters.
• It displays the current settings of these parameters.
• It shows the type of node (NodeType), the state and operations for each node type or content type.

5. Explained above is that this module allows you to embed videos in all types of content you have or you can choose the kind of content you want the video to be embedded, if the user wants this option, you will be directed to Operations of the type of node (NodeType) Global Settings and tick the option Enable the Node Type FlashVideo for this, so that we can embed a video on any content created. See in the picture. View Image 4

If it is desired to embed the video in a content type, select the content type and its operations are marked Enable for this FlashVideo the Node Type. This example is for the type of content page, as shown in the figure, if you want to do another type of content or more at a time, the procedure is the same. On the settings page of the module shows other fields and options, which would be equal for all content. In the images should be shown as the configuration of these fields and options:

6. Once you have configured the module as shown in the pictures above, sent the configuration page.

7. As you can see in the picture below an error occurred, it can be fixed by downloading and extracting the drivers from the S3 here.

8. Downloaded the drivers and have extracted the folder Storage3.

9. This folder is placed within your site in modules / FlashVideo / drivers and sent back the configuration page and the error will disappear.

10. This module can use multiple media players. Swf, two of the most commonly used are the JW Player and the Dash Media Player, these players can be downloaded at the following address (http://www.travistidwell.com/node/177) .

11. Once you download any of these players are extracted and they changed the original name for Player.swf, this player will copy files within the folder of your site, it is important to know that if you use the player Dash Media Player, it is also necessary copy the files in the folder Skins folder that comes with the download of the player. The following figure shows the player and the Dash Media Player Skins folder inside the folder files from the site. View Image 12

12. After this step is being able to upload a video from the type of content website, is to create content / page and you will appear as a field with a Browse button to search for the video and another attached to enclose the video, as shown in the figure:

13. Uploading a video which should not exceed 2MB capacity, but as we saw at the beginning of this configuration, these values can be modified, then the body of the page is written to the tag video [video], as shown in the image and sent it. View Image 14

14. The last step in order to view the embedded video on the site is run Cron, this is done as follows, go to Manage / Status Report / Cron maintenance tasks / run cron manually, you need to know that each time cree a page to embed a video you need to run cron, once this is done you can view the embedded video, see below.
