Wouldn't it be nice if the primary tabs magically moved inside the admin links hover-menu?

+1 - Would love to remove the redundant 'edit' tab and place the rest inside admin's hover menu.

Perhaps someone can add B&W icons for common tabs (like revisions - a clock?) to go along with the pencil and trash can. But other tabs could just be text.

Related - I've opened #601818: Suppress redundant primary tabs which expands on Poieo's suggestion in #4 here.

When typing that up, I had interpreted this ticket as being focussed on moving the tab bars inside the admin links border, as per the ticket subject, but #4 - #5 seem to be moving towards actually integrating the primary tabs with the admin buttons(?).

That could work but some users will need to see primary tabs and won't have access to the admin hovermenu.
