Delete own comments

I am looking into this further before I make a decision.

First of all, thank you very much for this module and your dedication. Very useful, clever and neat module.

I also would love to have the alternative to give users the ability to delete their own comments.

The main reason why this feature isn't already present in comment module is because deleting one comment in a thread destroys the whole thread.

Since Flatcomments solves perfectly the thread issue, it would be wonderful if it could also include the optional feature of deleting users own comments.

I don't know if it could be helpful, but gildedgod write some code and add the delete own comments feature to drupal 5.5 comments module through a patch ( http://drupal.org/node/10700#comment-894607 ).

While I agree this would be great feature to Drupal, I do not think it belongs in the flatcomments module. This functionality is also provided by the Comment Delete module which will work fine with Flatcomments.
