Garrett Albright CreditAttribution: Garrett Albright commentedGo to Administer > Site building > Menus > Add menu, just as you would if you were creating a whole new menu. It should be self-explanatory from there.
You're right, though. This module ain't cutting it in the docs department. No promises on when I'll get around to fixing that, though.

Best way to fix it is to delete all menu items in the database listed as 'navigation' and then automatically rebuild the menus using devel..

Furthermore the module now uses Drupal Help which explains how to use the module. You can also find this explanation in the README.txt and on the project homepage.
