After updating, the Image Assist process continues to work fine right up until the point of clicking 'Insert', at which point the following Javascript error is returned:
uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIDOMNSHTMLTextAreaElement.selectionStart]"
nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)"
location: "JS frame :: http:///modules/img_assist/img_assist_textarea.js?A :: insertToEditor :: line 90"
data: no]
I've tried upgrading FCKEditor, but the problem persists.
Is support for FCKEditor totally deprecated now?

sunRegarding FCKeditor integration via Wysiwyg module, see feature request in #478284: Add FCKeditor (Wysiwyg) integration.
I don't know how FCKeditor module's integration with Image Assist works, so I'm moving this issue over there.
