chadcross CreditAttribution: chadcross commentedVideo support would be awesome.
I just added some videos to a set that is displayed by the Flickr module. The thumbnail for the video shows up and when clicked, a larger version of the thumbnail appears in Lightbox. I can then click to see the video with "view details". So most things seem to work great.
Would just like to see the video appear in Lightbox instead of the larger thumbnail.

Anonymous (not verified) CreditAttribution: Anonymous commentedWe will definitely get to this after we have completed the upgrade to Drupal 7.

lolandese CreditAttribution: lolandese commentedI presume with video support it is intended to 'play' the videos embedded on a site, instead of just showing a still image of it.
It is now possible by making use of the embedded Flickr slideshow (both Flash and non-Flash). It works for Flickr Fliter, Flickr Block or Flickr Field.
Instructions:
To have this for D6 some patches should be backported:
See this in action in the demo at http://simplytest.me/project/demo_flickr/7.x-1.x.
Thanks.

cindyr CreditAttribution: cindyr commentedJust a vote for the feature request above, I'd love to see the video thumbnails show as they do in a node of a photoset, then when clicking on it (I use Colorbox to show the larger version), it would play the video instead of showing the larger thumbnail. The slideshow works, but really isn't at all what I'm looking for; all of my photo albums are nice big visual galleries, and my videos have to be one slideshow.

lolandese CreditAttribution: lolandese commentedThat would indeed be awesome. Please open a new D7 feature request specifically asking to play Flickr videos in an overlay browser like Colorbox or Lightbox.
I have not found examples of other Flickr videos being played in Colorbox/Lightbox on any site. I have little time right now, but you could help by searching info specifically how to play Flickr videos in Colorbox/Lightbox and provide me some links to it.
Of course you can also test with full HTML format if it is possible to embed the thumbnail and open it with Colorbox to play. Provide me then the snippet as a sample.
Thanks.

cindyr CreditAttribution: cindyr commentedThat's quite reasonable. I'm afraid I can't help with the code, but the research I can do. May be a day or two, but I'll start a new request for this as soon as I have some resources and samples for you...

lolandese CreditAttribution: lolandese commentedSetting this back to D7 and being 'fixed (closed)'.
Main reason is the fact that links to this issue show the status on hover without revealing the version (6 or 7). This might give the impression that the mentioned issue will not be solved, while in fact it is already fixed for the D7 version. 'Fixed (closed)' reflects the current status correctly for D7. 'Closed (won't fix)' is only valid for the minimally maintained D6 version of the module.
