Hey LouBabe and everyone,
You may have already noticed this, but Mailchimp has a new E-Commerce 360 feature that allows you to get much more detailed e-commerce data into your Mailchimp account for use with segmented mailings. You can see information about this here:
http://www.mailchimp.com/plugins/e-commerce-360/
Mailchimp has already released plugins for shopping carts like Magento, PrestoCart, OS Commerce, and ZenCart, but I'd love to see us create a plugin for Drupal's Ubercart module (http://drupal.org/project/ubercart). It could be a new sub-module called Mailchimp Ubercart.
According to the Mailchimp info page, this would give us the following features: "The plugin will track users who have followed the links in your campaign - when a user completes a purchase, the plugin will quietly send the basic details of the order - products ordered, product categories, and shipping, tax, and order totals - back to us via an API call. That data will then be available on your Campaign Reports page and eventually during segmentation when creating new campaigns."
I also think that creating the module would help us recruit a lot of Ubercart developers over to Mailchimp module development.
So does anyone else use Mailchimp with Ubercart?
Cheers,
Ben

kwinters CreditAttribution: kwinters commentedI have an interest as well.
Right now I'm busy, but if it's not done by the time I need to use mailchimp on an ubercart site (a month or two) I'll write this myself and give a patch.
To do this, it looks like the module will need to implement hook_order and have it send some info along using the API functions already present in the module.
