OK, I installed drupal (at http://www.moneymadeeasy.net/drupal/ in case you want to see an empty page ;-) But can anyone tell me why, in every account I create, "admin" appears as the username when I go to "edit user account" ? Everthing seems to work, it's just a wee bit disturbing.

mozilla
Are you using mozilla for your browser? If so, make sure you have the latest copy.
I think I've had this before..
Hi,
In Internet Explorer/Mozilla there is an auto-complete option for form fields, if you tell Internet Explorer/Mozilla to use this it will automatically put the values that you entered when you told it first to use it (probably the admin login).
The only solution that I found to get around this was to tell Internet Explorer/Mozilla not to use auto-complete for the site, or I'd get my admin login being entered not only when I edited accounts but when I edited anything at all
thanks
Yeah, using Opera "fixes" the problem, so apparently it is the browser.
I thought I had allowed for the possibility that it was the automatic form-filler, guess not.
I have mozilla 1.6, the latest release; by "latest copy" perhaps mathias refers to a development version?
Thanks people.
