1) Install Drupal 5.20
2) Install Nodeprofile 5.x-1.4 and the modules it depends on (Node Family and Subform Element)
3) Go to Administer -> Content types
4) Edit the story content type.
5) Check the box for "Use this content type as a nodeprofile for users".
6) Save the content type.
7) Upgrade the site to Drupal 6.14, remembering to disable contributed modules before upgrading (http://drupal.org/upgrade/tutorial-introduction).
8) Remove the Nodeprofile, Node Family, Subform Element directories from your modules directory.
9) Add the Content Profile 6.x-1.x-dev module to your modules directory.
10) Go to Administer -> Site Building -> Modules and enable the Content Profile module (this runs the import script).
11) Go to Administer -> Content types and edit the Story content type.
12) You will see that in the Content Profile section of the form "Use this content type as a content profile for users" should be checked, but alas it is not.
