Is there a way for a user to disable relationship type? E.g if a user does not want to receive friend request now (but doesn't mind anyone becoming fan of theirs, is that possible?

ajayg CreditAttribution: ajayg commentedAny thoughts where the change would be required and I will see if there is anything I can do to get a patch. I just don't want to go in isolation with a design which does not fit overall scheme.
I think we require
1. Some user editable setting which need to enable/disable a relationship type per user basis
2. Changes in the code to honor the setting (if "set" don't show on the profile, request to become "relation type" with X.
Any more thoughts?
Sorry I changed this to Active and as a feature request since it belongs to UR. Hope you are ok with it.,

Please feel free to set to 'needs review' once a patch is included.
