I'd like to start over with new topics. How do I zap existing data? Should I purge all topic, feed, mention and source type contents?

Unfortunately, there's no such feature, right now - so you would have to wipe-out and re-install.

The feature was requested by others, too - so it will be available very soon (maybe even as soon as: this week).
