Is there a migration path from the core poll module to pollfield? Is one planned?

(I thought it better to have this separate from the roadmap issue, as it may already exist somewhere...)

Marking this as a feature request, and setting the priority to minor. This would be a good bit of work to code a transition path. I think it might be better to wait until after the Drupal 7 version to implement anything like this.
