I setup tattler in a directory: my url mysite.com/tattler

I can enter a topic.
It will redirect me to the subdomain page so if I have this in localhost/tattler, once I hit submit, it says that the topic was created but redirects me to localhost/tattler//tattler

Tattler is not, yet fully tested in the subfolder installation mode. Please try installing it as a fully-qualified domain/subdomain. If you are installing it on a local host, you can create one in your hosts file.
