Using Acquia Drupal installed on ubuntu 9.10, I downloaded the latest FCKeditor module and extracted the files to /sites/all/modules, which created /sites/all/modules/fckeditor/fckeditor/ with the COPY_HERE.txt file occupying the lowest level fckeditor folder.

The instructions in COPY_HERE.txt refers the reader to www.fckeditor.net to download the latest version, which redirects to ckeditor. Downloading those files does not work.

Please modify COPY_HERE.txt to direct the reader to ckeditor.com/download in order to find FCKeditor 2.6.5, released on 21 September 2009. These files seem to work just fine.

Perhaps a reference to the install video at: http://drupal.fckeditor.net/installation would also be helpful. That is how I got straightened out. I couldn't follow the instructions in this video because I was not installing the correct version of editor and Drupal complained about not being able to find fckeditor. I suspected ckeditor would not be accepted with the name variation. I stumbled onto the proper link when I took a peek at: http://drupal.org/project/ckeditor
