I just relaunched my site for the third time. This time I chose Drupal, and converted all my content from custom programmed pages using PHP, and Smarty for templating functionality. So far I'm pretty happy with Drupal, and might consider creating some modules for it, if/when the need arises. I still have some browser related layout issues that need to be resolved. Please let me know what you think.

Your site is clean and cool easy to navigate. It is good to see examples of clean good design. I see a lot of Drupal sites that look very "rough" or which don't really take into consideration the user experience when they visit.

Which version did you install and which modules/themes are you using? I think this is of interest to others who look at and like a site. I just looked at another new site that appears to use a HTML composing module which is a lot easier for people than hand coding html tags...

and thank you for the complements. Initially I tried version 4.4.0 but found that there still where some plugins that I wanted to use that didn't work quite right. Most notably the image gallery. So, I'm using 4.3.2 right now. In combination with some standard modules such as drupal, search and path I installed feedback, glossary, image, profile, quotes and weblinks.

When I converted to Drupal I wish I would've been able to look at the configurations of others as well, just to get an understanding of how others setup their Drupal enabled sites. If anyone has any specific questions on something I've done on my site (although I don't think there's anything highly advanced in there) feel free to let me know.

Hiya!

Just dropped by your site from the showcase section of drupal.org. Have to say that I love how clean and well designed your layout is.

Your design has inspired me to try out Drupal..a lot of other sites using drupal ..look unimaginative and I was wondering if that was because of restrictions.

After looking at your site, I have changed my mind.

Quick question. How did you do the header wher eyour bob logo seems to fill two rows? Was it as simple as chopping up your graphic?

cheers
