I am trying to create a filter for the word Amazon, to replace it with the generic affiliate link they give me. When I create the filter, anything after the work amazon in my page text is being removed, up to a certain length which i haven't completely figured out yet.
My filter looks like this:
Amazon|Amazon
I have a page on my site which is showing the problem in action if you'd like to send me a message, I'll give the link.

AppleBag CreditAttribution: AppleBag commentedHi jaydub
Has there been any update to this since we last emailed about it? (the length of the replacement text being too long issue)

jaydub CreditAttribution: jaydub commentedCan you try the attached patch? You might want to update from CVS or download a dev snapshot if you are not using the latest d5 or d6 release. Be sure to use the patch for which version of Drupal you are running.

AppleBag CreditAttribution: AppleBag commentedI installed the current dev version, and then patched it (D5), and ran the update script, and it's working great. I also made a small change on mine to the edit form, turning the textfield into a text area so it would accept more than 255 characters. Turning it into a textarea also enables editors like FCKEditor to come into use there, if desired. I saw a couple of other areas that the same change may be useful, but I left those alone for now.
Thanks a million for fixing this jaydub. =)
