Does anyone know whether it's possible to create a single Views Exposed Filter and it be applied to multiple fields?
So rather than having say 3-text fields to filter against the fields:
- 'node body',
- 'node title', and
- 'CCK question'
You would simply have 1-text field that would be used to check for the existence of the entered key words against all three fields?
Any advice would be really appreciated.
Many thanks.

Search form text field
Not quite ... you can add the Search filter (expose it) ... this will give you a single text field that will search across nodes in your View using the same mechanism used in the Drupal search form. I'm not sure whether it excludes fields not shown in the view ... you'd have to give it a go, but it definitely returns to your view with results filtered by your search terms.
Views Search: Search Terms
I added the Filter Search: Search Terms and it's now working perfectly.

Couldn't find it for a sec
If you're like me and you find that the filter Search: Search Terms is not an available option, enable the core search module first :)
