Multigroup for 7.x

Hi there,

Just wondering if any work has been done on porting multigroup to 7.x already? Is it even remotely compatible with the new fields implementation (I think I read somewhere that fields are done semantically or have a new database structure now??)

If it's already around, can someone please provide a link? I'm trying to get a step ahead and replicate my D6 install inside D7.
