Pointer to how to implement calendar node teaser popup when displaying calendar view as a list

I have two views available to viewers, The calendar view and a straightforward list of events. I am using a clone of the standard Calandar_view and outputing it as a table.

My problem is when users click on an event in the table, they leave the calendar page to go to a node view.

For consistancy, I would like to implement the Jcalendar popup display to show the node teaser in the same way for both calendar and table display.

lf someone can give me some pointers to where/how to make this happen, I would be grateful.
