The table with id=permissions that is displayed when selecting Administer->AccessControl->Permissions is unweildly when dealing with several roles at once. Right now, it appears that the only alternative to displaying all roles is to select an individual role. It would be significantly easier to add and edit roles if there was an ability to make more than one, but less than all, roles visible. Perhaps add a column to the roles tab so that each role can be selectably "editable" or "not editable" (or "viewable" or "not viewable"). Then have the permissions tab only display those roles that have been marked as editable/viewable.

"It would be significantly easier to add and edit roles if there was an ability to make more than one, but less than all, roles visible." is a perfectly reasonable feature request.

StevenPatzPlease don't mark issues fixed unless there is a committed patch or a valid workaround.

I´m just trying to get some attention in some old "feature request", from the x.y.z. version.
I'll stop marking issues as fixed, unless I'm sure the feature is implemented and working.
Just trying to give my contribution.
