Show more Node options in Calender View?

Is there a way of having the node editable (like it is on the node's page) in a Calender View?

I know EditView and EditFields sort of do this but they only let me edit the node's name and CCK fields. Im using the SignUp module and I cant get this to work for either of them. Im guessing that the Signup doesn't work by editing the actual 'event' node, and this means EditView and EditFields dont solve my problem.

On the node's page users can Signup with 1 click and I want this to be accessible without leaving the Calender page.

Do I need to copy the code for the Signup module somewhere else or is there some way of affecting the Node's display so it shows up? Im completely stuck on this so any help would be really appreciated.
