I have bit.ly chosen as the URL shortening service in my Drupal settings but I noticed that the short url created when the Tweetmeme button is clicked is a random provider
Sometimes is.gd is used, other times ow.ly. Is this more a function that Tweetmeme goes with another provider if it chooses. That I know of, bit.ly was not having any issues during the times that other URL shortening services were used.

tobias CreditAttribution: tobias commentedI am having this issue too - it does not use bit.ly on my site but another url shortening service. Does this integrate at all with the shorten module to also track bit.ly links using a specified bitly account?
thanks,
tobias

Danny Englander@tobias, can you confirm your issue is exactly the same as mine where a random URL shortening provider is used even though bit.ly is chosen in the Tweetmeme settings? In other words for 'blog post one' is.gd is used, for 'blog post 2', ow.ly is used etc...

Danny Englandertobias - ok good to know. Would be good to get some feedback from the developer of the module to see if they have any thoughts on this. At least I know my issue is not isolated.
