I would like to change the theme's header image (I mean the top banner with the girl, just down to the primary links menu) but i don't know hoe to start: i'm new in Drupal.

The graphics of the header or other regions of the theme live in the images folder.

For instance, the inset-banner.jpg file displays the girl's picture.

Open it in Photoshop and check its size. It comes in 1057 pixels in width and 199 pixels in height.

To begin personalizing the theme, try, for instance, adjust or inset-banner.jpg with your own artwork.

Also, check out the Drupal Handbook on how to tweak and manipulate the page.tpl.php and style.css files, both located in the theme's folder, of course.
