I have deleted the database tables that phpbb2drupal module first created automatically. I thought it would be able to create them again. Is there a way to start over so that it can restore the tables?
When I try to access the settings page I get an error page saying that it couldn't connect to the database.

Normally, running reset would clear the tables, and that is what you wanted, not to delete them.
