Releases for Toolbar

If we were using code names for our releases this one will be named proudly "Community empowers Toolbar". This release features bug fixes, new features and API changes all reported, suggested, coded by the community. Thank you !

Important API changes has been introduced, please update your code if you make calls to Toolbar API before upgrading.

What's new

API changes

• by hadsie, dankh : _toolbar_set_user_toolbar renamed to toolbar_set_user_toolbar in respect to public function naming conventions,
• by hadsie, dankh : _toolbar_create renamed to toolbar_create in respect to public function naming conventions,
• by dankh: due to #936946 toolbar_set_user_toolbar requires toolbar name for first parameter not toolbar array,
• #946658 by ldweeks, hadsie, dankh : Added programmatically set the toolbar role. New API function introduced toolbar_set_role_toolbar .

Most cache features has been removed due to many issues introduced by the cache code, upgrade is recommended.

Important note

Due to the important re-factoring (merge of Toolbar and Toolbar Shortcuts modules) there is no upgrade path from previous versions (6.x-2.1-alpha3 including). You should :

1. Export all toolbars
2. Completely remove Toolbar and Toolbar Shortcuts modules
3. Install Toolbar module
4. Import your toolbars

Create a shortcut in the default set on installation of this module
User=1 gets assigned to the default set on installation
