I must be quite moran.. I just installed the module, and checked the G2 filter on the various input formats.
I created a couple of example definitions, but they do not come up neighter in my contents nor in the G2 glossary main page cliccking the initial. When I do that I have this response:

Displaying 0 entries starting by 'initial' from a total number of 2 entries.

Admin info: there are also 0 unpublished matching entries from a total number of 0 unpublished entries.

So, why the terms I create looks "hidden"? What am I missing?

This information tells you that you have created two entries (which matches your "a couple" wording), but the initial is not what you believe it to be.

You can check the entries in admin/content/node: maybe it is a case issue ? remember that for G2 case is significant in initials and you must set up the alphabar yourself to match what you want to appear.

no, initials are fine (lower case) but still a) I can't load them by glossary initials and b) they are not linked with web site content

I noticed than in the G2 glossary settings the option "Use the URL of this remote G2 glossary, or for a local glossary:" was pointing to an external web site. I changed it to but got no fortune.

(yes, I have applied the G2 glossary filte in the input types)

An extra bit of information (and please let me know what info should I include to improve this report): I noticed that G2 glossary help state that "G2 uses three taxonomy vocabularies: context, period, and grammatical nature.", however no extra vocabularies has been added enabling this module.

Regarding the vocabs, G2 does not create them, and does not actively use them: this help text comes from one specific deployment of an earlier version (the G2 demo site), and should be reworded.

The local/remote switch does not affect the initials page.

I'm afraid I don't have more general ideas. Maybe if you gave me access to the site I could think of something: you can contact me privately via my contact tab if you want this. Expected cost: if/when I discover/solve a bug in this case, you write the patch :-)
