Hi, kbahey pointed me towards this project because I've been working on getting xhprof support into devel module - see #742788: Display XHProf output via a devel menu callback. There is already some integration, the issue's still open in case we're able to render reports inside Drupal at some point (would require either reimplementing or cleaning up large parts of the xhprof display libraries first).

I'm opening this issue to ask if rather than continuing with this project, if you'd be interested in joining forces on devel module to improve xhprof support there - having two modules which do it seems like duplicate effort.

Absolutely. I didn't know XHProf integration work had started for the devel module. I'm currently using github to manage the project (I added a link to the project description). The code is simple for the most part so I'm more than happy to contribute what I can to devel.

Cool. There's very basic support in devel. Had a very quick look at the code on github and historical run information etc. looks handy. I'm pretty sure we can't add the xhprof libs to Drupal's CVS but there's workarounds for that.

Hopefully see you on the other issue, or feel free to open new ones if there's specific features you'd like to add. Might make sense to point the project page to either this issue or one of the devel ones just in case others come across it and try to figure out what's going on where.
