First of all, thanks for this great theme!
Please see attached for my current layout.
I am hoping to remove the top and bottom margin around the image, and when the width of the window is reduced, to align the image to leave no left margin (which there currently is) and "crop-out" the right of the image so that a horizontal scroll bar does not appear.
Oh, and would it be possible to better align the image with the title and the rest of the content?
I tried changing most of the CSS values, but the trial and error wasn't very fruitful.

I'm wary about changing margin values for blocks in the header because it might interfere with other people's layouts. I'm pretty sure you can easily change the CSS so the margins are removed though. See the
#featured .block
declaration on line 664 and on in the file style.css.
