When you are using a different language as preferred language, you can sometimes get English text. There can be several reasons for this.

I have posted other issues for problems with found in the modules, but there was one other problem found that was in the file misc/drupal.js

There are 3 messages :
An error occurred. NL@uriNL@text
An error occurred. NL@uriNL(no information available).
An HTTP error @status occurred. NL@uri

(with NL = newline)
These lines cannot be translated, because the newline is skipped by Drupal when importing to the database. This can be checked by Administer / Languages / translate interface page and then search for untranslated strings. You will find the messages (without the skipped newline).

I think it is good idea to replace in misc/drupal.js the newlines by a html br. (see upload)
Then you will get the translated messages (and you will not find these lines as untranslated)
