Allow a views argument to specify how the map should be centered and zoomed. This would be useful to creating user or content specific maps based on openlayers cck input.

Not very into this; it's kind of abusing views arguments. You can construct Permalink URLs or create points/boxes dynamically which have the invisible style and the zoomToLayer behavior enabled that will do the same effect?
