In certain heavy-load circumstances the css_js_query_string feature can add a major performance hit. It would be good to have an option to disable this.

DamienMcKennaHere are three patches that work off a new variable called "skip_css_js_query_string", which defaults to FALSE and allows for the query string addition to be skipped.

DamienMcKennaFYI a related patch for Drupal core has been submitted: #772328: Optionally disable using css_js_query_string - D6 for now, a D7 version will be provided soon.
