Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
In function views_formats (date_api_sql.inc), display formats at various levels of granularity are derived from the 'long' date format. If your long date format has a
comma between month and year, so will the abbreviated $formats['display'] string for month granularity (for example). A few people have complained about this
showing up in archive view, and it's an unresolved problem if you're using a CCK date field instead of the default creation date.
It would be great to have the ability to configure the format from which the formats at various granularities are derived.

DamienMcKennaUnfortunately the Drupal 6 version of the Date module is no longer supported. That said, we appreciate that you took time to work on this issue. Should this request still be relevant for Drupal 7 please feel free to reopen it. Thank you.
