Google search too often turns up very old articles. Can this be remedied?

Google search too often turns up very old articles. Can this be remedied?

Hope I am not being stupid here, and I would like this to be positive.

I like drupal and am using it more and more. But almost every time I do a google search on anything google related, the first link is too often to a 2006 or 2007 article. This often happens even if I add the current year.

This happens so often, it seems puzzling.

Here is my latest search, using the words: drupal video platform

Even the drupal homepage came up after the 2007 article.

Any suggestions or feedback?
