You are cordially invited to attend a drupal party...

Who: Western Massachusetts Linux Users (WeMaLU)
What: drupal party
Where: U. Mass, Amherst (see the WeMaLU website for directions).
When: November 18th, 2002, 7-9pm
Virtual: http://www.jfdill.com/wemalu

So what is a drupal party, anyway? It's an idea that I just came up with (original as far as I know). I'm going to walk someone through the process of setting up a drupal site while everyone else joins in and tries out the various features.

In the event that I can't get internet access on location, the virtual party will be held on my laptop, with my apologies to the would-be virtual attendies. I will post status updates on my website at www.jfdill.com.

The LAN in the building is restricted, so we will only have internet access from one laptop in the room which can't be running NAT. However, I will still set up a demo server at http://www.jfdill.com/wemalu that you can feel free to play around with. I will be using the demo server at the end of the "party" to talk about some of the features that need internet access like syndication and distributed authentication.
