Hello, recently I had a serious problem with the use of Chrome while browsing my WebFM files. I was browsing my files and directories with Chrome and due to an unknown reason as I was clicking the "+" sign to expand the directory tree, the directories I tried to expand were deleted. I went to the filesystem to check if it was only disappearing from WebFM due to a bug, but it simply deleted the directories from the filesystem too with all file within it. A total of 3 directories were wiped from my filesystem. I'm disencouraging the use of Chrome on my site from now on until issues like this get solved. Every other browser works ok!

Thank you for helping with webfm and reporting this bug.
I would like to suggest that this is a side effect and/or the same problem as in #473918: directory automatically moved to inside another directory that's why I am marking this as a duplicate. If you think different please reopen.

Thanks.

No it's not being moved, the files and directories are being literally deleted

It could still be related to the mouse-position problem - care to try the latest version from cvs?

Der lsrzj,
thank you for reporting this and helping to make webfm better.

I am closing this because I cannot reproduce this error with the 6.0.475 Chrome engine (SWare Iron). You should really try #473918: directory automatically moved to inside another directory because in case your folder got moved it might got moved somewhere that you cannot find it anymore. It seems unlikely this is realted to webfm: Before we delete a folder you are asked to confirm.

Sorry and thank you.
