As stated, local tasks should imo have an active style, the hover style seems appropriate.

I should say a more prominent active style, right now the color difference between the inactive and active tab is so subtle its hard to see, by applying the darker border of the hover style it will stand out more, dont forget focus styles.

No, I mean tasks, these links are by definition MENU_LOCAL_TASK; since they can be styled any old way I prefer to refer to them by their technical name, "local tasks" ;)
