Hi, Folks

I'm new here.. been lurking a couple of days..
Installed 4.0 & I'm impressed with the functionality of Drupal.

Question: Maybe I've just missed it somewhere... but what about language (as in foul) filters?

My planned implementation of Drupal will be for a kids&teens site, so I'm looking for the capability to specify a list of words that should be *bleeped* or replaced with alternate words when posted.

When I click on administration/filters, just the text "error" comes up. Any ideas on how to remedy that?

Also... if Drupal doesn't have filtering for "inappropriate" language, any suggestions on the best method I could use to integrate it? I'm not a coder, but if pointed in the right direction I'm persistent enough to figure things out.

Appreciate your help What a talented team Drupal has behind it That's obvious =)

Drupal filters are exactly the way to create *beep-word* type of filters, it is strange no-one has came up with such a feature yet.
See module_filter for more. If you have no time / knowledge to write such a filter, add it to feature request.

Look in the contributions, to the smileys.module. With a little modifying this module, you'll get a very nice pleeping.module.

If you ran into troubles, you can always ask your question in the forums. You just have to try it once, it isn't as hard as it looks like...
