When I reuse an existing field almost none of the settings for the field are reused.

When I reused an image field all of these where left empty when I added it to a new content type:
- Help text
- File directory
- Image sizes
- Alt/Title
- Preview indicator

In most cases I would only need to make minor changes to the original fields settings and most would be re-used. For the above case the most likely change would be to the file directory, where I would change "images/[folder A]" to "images/[folder B].

Now I have to have two browser windows open, one with the settings for the field I reuse that I use to copy the settings from.

CCK did reuse a lot of settings so I don't really see why that has changed now?!

Most, if not all of this is still not copied when reusing an existing field. A lot of this information are reusable either in full or in part and would save a lot of time. Now it is needed to find an existing content type to copy and paste from.
